Finally got some of those fall vacation pictures put on a jump drive for Seth and Heather.

Supper at Tavo Boy on Folly, November 30. We stayed just long enough to see the sun setting, but left before this next picture would have given us a problem.

This past month had a lot of other activities that I didn't document with photos! I need to get better at snapping a quick picture and then posting them here. Maybe George has a few more that I can include before the end of the year. It's all about the memories.

A month of goodness.

Here's the car loaded with goodies for folks in the Midwest. Our personal bags are in the backseat!

Then, ready to get on the road for our family visit.

Along the way we saw lots of interesting things.

A field of brilliant orange and yellow flowers in South Carolina.

This blue butterfly caught me attention in North Carolina. The head has white dots all over it.

This is a Dale Chihully piece that hangs in the Columbus, Indiana Visitor Center.

We enjoyed the cuisine along the way, too. This had butternut squash, feta cheese, papitas, and craisins on mixed greens, with their house made vinaigrette. Scrumptious.

Iron River, MI was geared up for their Harvest Festival.

I don't have any of the pictures of the family in Iron River. I got so busy playing games with them, and Papa hasn't given me a jump drive with his pictures, yet. Oh well, I can always make a separate post when I get them.

We visited Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen while in Spring Green. Lovely place.

Saw this sign at Bob's BBQ, Dodgeville, WI. (It's so good you'll lick your napkin) Isn't this a clever way to get people's attention.

We also toured The House on the Rock. This is a view from the farthest point we were allowed to go, in the Infinity room.

And a poor photo of a photo, but it gives you the side view!

Beautiful huge working clock. It must have been a good 20 feet tall.

And outside are these planters that are probably 12-16 feet tall. That boxy piece in the middle is a good 4 feet high.

The girls in Poplar Grove dressed up with feathered head bands and set about drawing cats.

October 5th found us at home. We were getting ready to head up to Aunt Marjorie's farm in Lone Star. Evacuation started early in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. This was my first one to be here for. But then, I chose to go inland, so I wasn't really here for it! I was surprised that these azaleas were almost this full when we got back on Sunday.

And I've had a yellow rose bloom this fall too.

I brought this quilt home with me to try to restore it to a freshly white color, for Aunt Marjorie.

Used this product.

And was blown away by its performance! Totally, pristine white!

Aunt Marjorie was very happy to get her Mom's quilt back in such a useable condition.

Then I received a total of 8 quilt tops that needed to be quilted.

4 for Paulette and family. The two on the left were from her Mother and had been hand pieced. Paulette asked me to do my best but she was very aware of the puffiness in them. I used my glide foot and took it slow and easy. They came out superb.

Then there were four from Betty. Some for the grandkids.

Both of these ladies are so pleasant to quilt for.

Here's a quick look at some of the textures that came about during these last few quilts.

I also worked on this, but it isn't finished yet. Needs more quilting and binding, and a brown circle for the center. That red one is screaming at me! It's hard to see any of the quilting in this picture. I'll try to get a better one when its finished.
